so, my internet connection randomly went out. here's the steps i took (fairly typical):
1. check google connection
2. unplug, replug router
3. click airport icon to refresh connection
4. repeat 2 & 3 x three
5. drink
6. restart computer
7. rejoice because it's a mac problem and it's now solved!
